GET OUT THE SHAMMY AND THE WAX....TIME TO GET READY....
OK boys and girls it's not coming, it's already here and has been since the first Monday after Halloween.
Yes kiddies.....time to shine and wax all the credit cards and make them sparkle.....
Yes it is among us again.....
Most retailers have been offering "Cyber Monday" deals for a few weeks now and more are coming on board. The fantastic saving you get from just "pick and click" your gifts online. Spend wisely my children as it is very very easy to "overspend" at online outlets...
WARNING: Many employers are either going to monitor or completely restrict your access to online shopping while at work.
If you have any extra money left over and you feel you want to do a "good thing" let me know I will give you my shipping address and you can ship direct to me this Christmas.

WE REALLY GOTTA GET RID OF THESE TURKEYS......
On the brink of failure, members of a special deficit-cutting committee blamed each other Sunday for the intransigence that has gridlocked the panel in its quest to cut the deficit by at least $1.2 trillion over the coming decade.
"If you look at the Democrats' position it was 'We have to raise taxes. We have to pass this jobs bill, which is another almost half-trillion dollars. And we're not excited about entitlement reform,' " Republican Jon Kyl of Arizona said in a combative interview on NBC's "Meet the Press."
Fanning out to the sets of the Sunday morning talk shows, Democrats and Republicans blamed each other for a deepening impasse that has all but doomed chances for an accord. In a series of interviews, not a single panelist seemed optimistic about any last-minute breakthrough. Under the committee's rules, any plan would have to be unveiled Monday.
Democrats said that Republicans on the supercommittee were simply unwilling to move on tax increases that Democrats insist should be part of any package that emerges from the negotiations. And Republicans said Democrats' demands on taxes were too great, even in response to a scaled-back GOP offer made late last week.
"There is one sticking divide. And that's the issue of what I call shared sacrifice," said panel co-chair Sen. Patty Murray. "The wealthiest Americans who earn over a million a year have to share too. And that line in the sand, we haven't seen Republicans willing to cross yet," the Washington Democrat said on CNN's "State of the Union."

A Sherlock Holmes Moment
Elementary my dear Watson..........
I use a HP laptop here at home. I use Chrome as my browser. I am running Windows 7.
I use gmail as mail server. I have 2 gmail accounts (one personal one for business).
I also have firefox on the system as well as IE. I do not IE for anything. However there are certain web sites
that if they open aux service windows they use IE protocols in the background.
I do use firefox only for one purpose.....There are times I need both gmail email accounts open at the same time.
(personal and business) so I will open firefox and open my business gmail account so both are open at the same time negating the task of having to sign out of one gmail account to open the second and vice versa.
OK....to summerize I have chrome open for all computing applications.
I have firefox open only to have my other gmail account open.
Starting today for reasons I can not determine I could open blogger but I could not view my blog. I had all dashboard functions available except view blog. View blog would give me a blank screen.
Only after running CCleaner was I able to open blogger and view blog ???????????????????????????????
It's beyond my understanding and comprehension so all you Sherlock's out there feel free to comment.......

Serious New Virus Warning....Please review and take precautions
Subj: VIRUS ALERT Status: PUBLIC MESSAGE
Source: Department of Homeland Security
Date: November 12th, 2011
Warning: There's a new virus on the loose that's worse than anything encountered todate! Transmitted through power lines, riding on the powerline 60 Hz subcarrier. It works by changing the serial port pinouts, and by reversing the direction one's disks spin. Over 300,000 systems have been hit by here in the United States alone! And that's just in the last 12 minutes.
It attacks DOS, Unix, TOPS-20, Apple-II, VMS, MVS, Multics, Mac, RSX-11, ITS, TRS-80, and VHS systems plus 8-Track systems.
To prevent the spread of the worm:
1) Don't use the powerline.
2) Don't use batteries either, since there are rumours that this virus has invaded most major battery plants, and is infecting the positive poles of the batteries. (You might try hooking up just the negative pole.
3) Don't upload or delete or download files.
4) Don't store files on floppy disks or hard disks.
5) Don't read messages. No, not even this one
6) Don't use serial ports, toasters, modems, or phone lines.
7) Don't use keyboards, screens, electric toothbrushes, or printers.
8) Don't use switches, CPUs, memories, microprocessors, or mainframes.
9) Don't use electric lights, electric or gas heat, or airconditioning, running water, vibrators, writing, fire, clothing, or the wheel.
I'm sure if we are all careful to follow these 9 easy steps, this virus can be eradicated, and the precious electronic fluids of our computers can be kept pure.

FIND THE BLOGGER'S
Seems as if Blogger is not as it used to be.....
Used to be I would see new blogs on about a 1 or 2 day frequency but now it seems that
days and weeks go by before new blogs are posted. And I am guilty as anyone as time and
conditions sometimes leave no time for posting the brain farts that occur in my mind on a daily basis.
