Chasing googlebots

Creating web sites and having search engines find them is a daunting task that requires a lot of time and effort and pre-design if you want the site to be found and displayed.  Every search engine (google, bing, yahoo, etc...etc... have bots (like a robot) that seekout and examine web pages within a web site in order to set up that search engines index files.  Search bots examine a site everytime that site is accessed to pick up additional or changed information but they don't spend a lot of time on each site and it takes a while for a site to be completely examined....especially if the site is large (like a Lowe's Home Improvement or a Best Buy site)....

My site Sedge Garden Florist  www.sedgegardenflorist.com only has 11 different web pages and no external links other than email addresses so it is rather easy for the searchbots to examine my site.

It helps a lot to have a sitelink from a third party site such as Manta, or yellowpages or Iyahoo and others.
The more external links to your site the better.

If you are thinking about such a venture I would suggest you read and learn as much as you can from
google webmaster tools.

Good luck
